2018 Shiraz-Tempranillo

Our first ever blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Tempranillo. The exceptional 2018 vintage enabled us to experiment with these two varieties. 10 months in seasoned French oak has produced a wonderfully textured wine that shows both red and blue fruits, together with the key savoury spice characteristics of both varieties. An outstanding wine for the next 10 years.

2018 Field Blend Chardonnay Semillon

Kelman Vineyard produces boutique Hunter wines of distinction. A classic Hunter blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Semillon with both picked and pressed together on 25 January 2018. Matured in old French oak for 7 months. A textured wine with the Chardonnay providing a wonderful richness with stone fruits and melon and zesty citrus notes from the Semillon. Superb drinking now and will age well.

2019 Semillon

Kelman Vineyard produces boutique Hunter wines of distinction. Pale straw with a lovely green hue, this hand picked Semillon was crushed to release only the finest free-run juice. Cool fermentation ensured beautiful retention of aromatics and flavours. The wine reveals lemon and lime citrus, lemongrass and light exotic notes on the nose, with the impeccably balanced palate showing intensity, length and drive.

Serendipity Liqueur Muscat

NV Serendipity Vin De Vie Liqueur Muscat

New bottling of this uniquely styled Hunter Liqueur Muscat. This lightly brandy fortified Muscat is matured in large old format barrels, and imparts delicate Muscat aromas of dried fig and spice (cinnamon, five spice and ginger). The length is wonderful and is an explosion of flavours that linger long after you have swallowed. Even better after another year in barrel. An excellent after dinner drink with chocolate desserts or even Christmas pudding. For something a little more decadent, pour a little on your favourite vanilla bean ice cream or as an affogato!

2018 Tempranillo

A handpicked selection of the finest fruit from an outstanding vintage. A wonderful expression of Tempranillo, with red fruits, raspberries, mulberries and spice on the front palate, together with the traditional smoked meat characteristics of this variety. Ready to drink now and will continue to develop for up to 10 years.

The 2017 vintage of this wine won two silver and two bronze medals.

Blanc de Blancs, Late disgorged 2015

Made in the traditional method, this late disgorged 100% Chardonnay has spent close to five years on lees to produce an extremely complex wine of distinction. Time has added additional flavours of grilled nuts and toasty characteristics, enhancing the citrus fruits from the early picked fruit. A fine bead and creamy and textured palate add drive and length to this special wine. Ideal for any special occasion or try with oysters!

The previous bottling of this wine, released two years ago, was given 91 points by Halliday and earned Bronze and Silver medals.

2017 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Hunter Semillon from Kelman is dominant at 85% yet it is the 15% of exceptional Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc that dominates the bouquet of this wine. Passionfruit and fresh cut grass from the Sauvignon Blanc and the wonderful citrus flavours of the Semillon, provide a wonderful refreshing white wine. Halliday 91 points
